The backshell with shrink tubing can be easily screwed onto the corresponding plug and socket outlets and offers the possibility of supplying cable sealed. Especially for applications where the separate Deltron plug or outlet could come into contact with moisture or dust, the cap is advised. The cap can be either screwed to the wall socket or by cable ties (not included) attached to the cable. A loss of the protective cap is thus impossible.
