SUMIDA supplies piezo-ceramic sounders (regarding the quality specifications in far east) as standard components and also according to customers specification:

• Sound-transducer membranes for self drive elements (AC)
• Sound-transducer membranes for external drive elements (AC)
• Piezoceramic wideband sounders - external drive elements (AC)
• Piezoceramic wideband sounders - self drive elements (DC)

Attention: Sumida reorganized its sales structure in Europe new, unfortunately, also ends our long-standing distribution relationship with the end of 2013. Current orders are of course by then operated, any stocks sold off.

The sound transducers designed by STELCO transmit acoustic signals over a frequency range which is as wide as possible at a relative low sound pressure difference. Therefor they can be used in a big variety of applications.

Depending on the drive type the sounders may be powered from the mains or by batteries, the PS types need an AC supply voltage. A rectangular signal with a 1:1 ratio will give the best possible output.

The series PS15, PS20, PS25 and PS45 are out of production, some parts are available from stock - first come, first served.
