The robust Peltier cooling units of the Series AA for outdoor use are designed for cooling or heating of enclosures or containers outdoors. Fans of well-known manufacturers blow warm air out through the fins of a heat exchanger, the heat is pumped with Peltier modules to the opposite heat exchanger and blown away by another fan. The two circuits are separated hermetically sealed.

Because of the use of specially tailored Peltier modules, the operation is effected with a high efficiency.

In addition to the standard coolers for outdoor use, these are also available with built-in bipolar regulators LE-80 and LK-81, with 2 preset temperature ranges:
LE-80 switches to heating mode when reaching the lower limit of +5°C and cooling at +35°C in the housing, LK-81 switches to heating mode when reaching the lower limit of +10°C and cooling at +25°C in the housing.

The devices are available for use at 24 or 48V DC.

Coolers of this series pass the rigorous Telcordia tests such as earthquake resistance, salt spray, rain, dust.

Careful selection of only premium components from well-known manufacturers guarantee a long, trouble-free life of the equipment.

The units operate independent of position, extremely reliable and almost maintenance-free; Only occasional cleaning of the cooling fins and fans depending on ambient conditions.
