The AA PowerCool Series is an Air-to-Air thermoelectric assembly (TEA) that uses impingement flow to transfer heat. It offers dependable, compact performance by cooling objects via convection. Heat is absorbed and dissipated thru high density heat exchangers equipped with air ducted shrouds and brand name fans.

The thermoelectric modules are custom designed to achieve a high coefficient of performance (COP) to minimize power consumption. This product series is available in a wide range of cooling capacities and voltages. Custom configurations and moisture protection options are available, however, MOQ applies.

To achieve a maximum temperature difference to the environment and the energy-efficient preservation of the internal temperature of a container or cabinet, a good insulation is essential. The impact of a 10 or 20mm foam insulation compared to non-insulated containers, whether in steel, aluminum or Plexiglas, is impressively illustrated in an assortment of Martin Karlstedt / Laird.

The robust Peltier cooling units of the Series AA for outdoor use are designed for cooling or heating of enclosures or containers outdoors. Fans of well-known manufacturers blow warm air out through the fins of a heat exchanger, the heat is pumped with Peltier modules to the opposite heat exchanger and blown away by another fan. The two circuits are separated hermetically sealed.

Because of the use of specially tailored Peltier modules, the operation is effected with a high efficiency.

In addition to the standard coolers for outdoor use, these are also available with built-in bipolar regulators LE-80 and LK-81, with 2 preset temperature ranges:
LE-80 switches to heating mode when reaching the lower limit of +5°C and cooling at +35°C in the housing, LK-81 switches to heating mode when reaching the lower limit of +10°C and cooling at +25°C in the housing.

The devices are available for use at 24 or 48V DC.

Coolers of this series pass the rigorous Telcordia tests such as earthquake resistance, salt spray, rain, dust.

Careful selection of only premium components from well-known manufacturers guarantee a long, trouble-free life of the equipment.

The Tunnel Series teas have been designed with a patented high cross-flow technology that the heat transfer, the pull of air through a special Wäremtauscher maximized.

The number of required air flow paths is lower in comparison to a conventional impingement TEA. The series is available with 12V or 24V.

The Cascade-Series-TEAs are specially designed to reach colder temperatures than conventional TEAs. This TEAs are multistage cascade to achieve a high cooling capacity at high temperature differences. The cold side can transfer heat by convection (sink and fan) or conductive (plate). This product line is available with 12V and 24V and is designed for indoor use in laboratory equipment.

The units of the new series MRC are largely maintenance-free, self-liquid circulation chillers with a heart of Peltier modules.
The built-in heater ensures constant liquid temperature at highly variable environmental conditions.
Due to the extremely low-vibration operation, this MRC are particularly suitable for cooling sensitive optical systems such as high-resolution microscopes.
All devices have a serial interface RS-232, optional RS-485.
Particularly successful applications are laser and medical applications.
